KUALA LUMPUR: Samalaju Industrial Port Sdn Bhd has awarded a RM311.14 million construction contract at the Samalaju Port development project in Sarawak to the Pekerjaan Piasau Konkerit Sdn Bhd-CHEC Construction (M)Sdn Bhd joint venture.
Samalaju Industrial Port is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bintulu Port Holdings Bhd.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, Bintulu Port said the contract is for the building and completion of the proposed Samalaju Port Development. The duration of the contract is 27 months from the date of issue. — Bernama
