BINTULU: TCIM Sdn Bhd Bintulu held a two-day roadshow from Monday at Medan Raya Commercial Centre for its new Agrocarrier 500 6×6, which is specially designed for oil palm plantation in field transportation.
Sales manager Law Poung Kong said the machine has been proven to work on different road conditions from hilly and undulating areas, to peat soil, mineral salt peat and swampy areas.
“It is built for quality and heavy duty usage, which is also a solution for labour shortages,” he said.
“The Agrocarrier 500 is equipped with single cylinder four stroke 461cc engine coupled with robust CVT automatic transmission, which allows it to pull and carry large payloads. It has a large capacity dump body with hydraulic tipping system for faster and more stable offloading.”
He added that the machine, priced at RM49,000 per unit, is built to the highest standards to be a heavy duty workhorse for agricultural applications.
The all-wheel drive of either 4×4 or 6×6 also delivers class leading off-road performance, he said.
TCIM deals primarily in material handling equipment, construction machinery, agricultural tractors and power generating sets.
