In a reshuffle of posts, Zulkifli was appointed the assistant principal director (Service) while Datuk Mohd Nizar Ali took over from Nahariah.

Nahariah when met after the appointment ceremony expressed her gratitude to the top police management for having confidence in her to lead the centre.

“The trust is a form of recognition for women police officers to contribute in more areas in the force,” she said.

Nahariah, who has been serving the force for 38 years, said as the head of the training centre she had to look into the needs of the various sections like a family.
