KOTA KINABALU: Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) president Datuk Teo Chee Kang said he declined to debate on the problems plaguing the party’s leadership in the media and would like to focus on efforts to strengthen the party’s unity.

“For me, I feel the episode has ended and my priority now is to improve party affairs, strengthen unity in LDP and to bring benefits to the people to gain their confidence.

“These are the most important things now. I do not want to continue with the debate in the media as I feel it has ended,” he told reporters when representing Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman to officiate the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Sekolah Menengah Tshung Tsin hostel here yesterday. — Bernama
