TAWAU: Tawau Police seized 22 motorcycles of various brands that had been abandoned by the owners near the roundabout at Al-Kausar mosque here Saturday night.
Tawau district police chief ACP Awang Besar Dullah said police seized the machines during an ‘Ops Lejang and Ops Cantas’ operation in the area.
“After waiting hours for the owners, the police decided to bring the motorcycles to the police station for further action,” he
said in a statement here yesterday.
Awang Besar said the owners could claim their motorcycles at the Tawau traffic branch. — Bernama
