KUCHING: Avon Malaysia announced and celebrated its top sales achievers for last year at its National Sales Conference in much glitz and glamour recently.
Annie Cheng Hwa Ping, Elizawaty Junaidi and Faridah Jamal were the proud recipients of Avon Malaysia’s #1 Golden Circle, #1 Sales Leader and #1 Franchisee awards respectively.
All these three Avon ladies received their trophy worth RM10,000 each, cash of RM3,000, jewellery worth RM1,000, product hamper worth RM1,500, a crown worth RM500 and recognition from Avon Malaysia managing director Carolyn Nur Amira Lee.
For Cheng, it was the fifth time she received the #1 Golden Circle award. Hailing from Ranau, Sabah, her consistency and passion in the Avon business truly inspired many other Avon ladies. Joining Avon in 2006, this mother of four was a former school teacher who is determined to provide a better life for her family.
“We need to focus and be consistent in achieving our goals. Avon has given me lots of support and training which enable me to change my live, thanks Avon!” she said when asked what was her secret of success.
Elizawaty on the other hand, rose from ranking #3 in year 2012 to #1. She was very excited about her win and she felt that her achievement was not just about the earnings, but also her involvement in empowering other women; in making them looking more beautiful and gaining financial independence. She is also very thankful to her husband, Mohd Zahid Abd Aziz who has been very supportive,
Meanwhile, Faridah outshone the other 199 franchisee to be named as the #1 franchisee.
“Owning the Avon boutique is more than just providing products to the Avon representatives and customers, but my boutique serves as a women empowering centre where we conduct various trainings, activities and parties. I enjoyed organising all these women empowering related activities, it’s my job satisfaction and very inspiring to see other women improve in their lives,” she said proudly at the event.
