BINTULU: Defending champion, Suai Sebatu Bersatu beat BPJ FC 1-0 in the opener of the Petronas Bintulu League at Bintulu Stadium last Saturday.
The only goal was scored by Mohd Zulhili Razali in the 80th minute after both teams struggle to break the deadlock.
Both teams had fair scoring opportunities during the first half but could not find the back of the net due to poor finishing.
Six other teams taking part in the league are APMM, PDRM, MLNG Petronas, Jepak United, Ajai Manai and Project Park A.
Earlier Bintulu Football Association president Duke Janteng representing Petronas management officially kicked off the league.
