PENAMPANG: Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Ewon Ebin did not show up at the press conference where Tan Sri Bernard Dompok’s announced his decision to step down as the president of Upko yesterday.
“He called me yesterday (Tuesday) and told me that he had to attend the Federal Cabinet meeting today, it is Wednesday,” said Dompok, explaining on Ewon’s absence.
Dompok announced his decision to step down as the party’s president after 20 years holding the post.
