KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines (MAS) is encouraging passengers to take full advantage of its MHkiosk facility to beat the queue at the conventional check-in counters at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

To ensure better ground experience for their passengers, MAS has installed ten new units of the MHkiosk at the KLIA Departure Hall, in addition to 36 existing common user kiosk, said the airline in a statement yesterday.

MHkiosk is a tablet-based kiosk which runs on the Windows platform introduced on Dec 15, 2013 to enable passengers from Kuala Lumpur to shorten check-in time at the airport.

“The MHkiosk installed at the Departure Hall between Door 1 and 3 is one of Malaysia Airlines’ initiatives to offer hassle-free and faster check-in process.

“This will ensure a better travelling and on-ground service experience for our guests,” said MAS Customer Services Director Datuk Mohd Salleh Tabrani.

Passengers with manual or stand-by tickets, those who require special service assistance, group bookings of more than nine passengers and passengers travelling to American destinations will not be able to check-in via the MHkiosk. — Bernama
