KAPIT: Assistant Rela officer here Hendry Goh Yasang is the new acting Rela Kapit officer replacing out-going Lieutenant Anthony Lugad who is on mandatory retirement effective March 11.
The simple handover of duty was held at Rela HQ here Wednesday afternoon, with signing of document witnessed by several Rela officers and staff.
Anthony has served as Rela officer here for 14 years. He first assumed duty here in March 2000 and ended his service at age 60 in March this year.
Anthony was a retired army officer holding the rank of Warrant 1 officer before his posting here with Rela.
On behalf of Rela unit here Hendry thanked Anthony for his great contribution to the growth and development of Rela in Kapit and wished him all the best in his future undertakings.
He pledged to continue the good work laid out by Anthony and promised to do his level best to serve the department and meet the expectations of the people.
Heads of various Rela units namely Reynold Jaraw and Imbat were also present at the handover ceremony.
