KOTA BAHARU: Umno youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin called on Chinese nationals to maintain the good rapport and diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China, rather than get carried away by speculations on the disappearance of the Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight MH370.

“The diplomatic relations which has existed for 40 years should be preserved and maintained, as many Chinese nationals seem to have expressed dissatisfaction as a result of unreliable and unfounded theories and speculations,” he told reporters after opening the National Sports Institute (NSI) Satellite Centre at the Panji Youth and Sports Complex, here yesterday.

“We hope China will look at the tragic incident from the total perspective,  and not merely from unfounded speculations,” he said. — Bernama
