KUCHING: The founder of Hope Place (HP), Kelvin Wan talked about his charity work to students of SJK Chung Hua No.2 yesterday.

A total of about 1,234 students from Primary 1 to 6 attended the sharing session.

According to headmaster Oh Boon Kheng, the school invited Kelvin to talk to raise awareness and promote the spirit of sharing and caring for the less fortunate among the students.

The school donated RM5,000 to HP, collected from the teachers and students while a Primary 2 student Amanda Wong donated her pocket money (she refused to disclose the amount).
