KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman said yesterday that it is crucial for all leaders, civil servants and the people to act as a strong team to ensure the success of the various government policies and development programs.
In this regard, he urged all parties to pool their resources to further strengthen their collaboration and play their their roles effectively to accelerate the pace of development in the State.
At the same time, he singled out the role of the private sector as a strategic partner of the government to be significant in generating development so that Sabah economy continues to grow and become competitive globally.
“In fact, the success and effectiveness of the implementation of various programs and agenda, be it at the Federal or State level, will ensure our success in stimulating economic growth to generate higher income among the people,” he added.
Musa was speaking at the State banquet in conjunction with the official opening ceremony of the second term of the 24th State Legislative Assembly session here.
Present at the function were the Head of State, Tun Hj Juhar Hj Mahiruddin and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Seri Panglima Hajah Norlidah Datuk RM Jasni, state ministers, Speaker of the State Assembly, assistant ministers and deputy speakers as well as members of the House.
