POH: Paloh State assemblyman Datuk Nozula Mat Diah, who was involved in an accident on Thursday, is getting better and he is still being treated at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HRPB), here.
HRPB director Datuk Dr Raja Lope Ahmad Raja Ariffin said Nozula was in a stable condition and was still being treated in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital.
“Kelantan Menteri Besar (Datuk Ahmad Yakob) was here just now to visit Nozula who has gained consciousness,” he told reporters at HRPB, yesterday.
Meanwhile, Nor Fatma Nadia, Nozula’s daughter said her father had not been told of her mother’s death.
“Father became conscious yesterday. Prior to this he was unconscious as he was under medication,” she said.
Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir also visited Nozula yesterday at 6pm.
In the accident, Nozula, 57, sustained serious injuries including bruised lungs and seven broken ribs, six on the right and one on the left. — Bernama
