Pandelela eyes third silver in World Series

KUCHING: Malaysian diving queen Pandelela Rinong hopes to maintain her momentum and focus to win the third leg of the World Diving Series in London, United Kingdom from April 25-27.

The 2012 London Olympics bronze medallist made a breakthrough in the Diving World Series by winning silver medals in the first and second leg of the World Diving Series in Beijing and Dubai last month.

“My confidence level is the same and I am doing my routine training to maintain my focus. I am looking forward to winning my third straight silver in  the women’s 10m platform individual and also in the 10m platform synchro with Leong Mun Yee,” said Pandelela in a telephone interview today.

The Sarawakian said although it would be a Herculean task to be better than China’s Liu Huixia, she would give her best to win her first gold medal. — Bernama
