Reuters cites a report by Indonesian network Metro TV that a Virgin Blue passenger plane was hijacked and forced to land in Bali. The news agency also tweeted that a passenger who attempted to hijack the plane is currently in custody in Bali as per Indonesian TV quotes of police.
An official from Virgin Australia denied that it was a hijacking attempt, citing that the passenger attempting to enter the cockpit was drunk.
The Boeing 737-800 passenger plane was enroute from Brisbane to Bali.
