Two subway trains collide in Seoul

SEOUL: Two subway trains collided at a station in Seoul on Friday, injuring over 100 passengers, local news reports said.

A subway train rammed into the rear end of another, South Korea ‘s Yonhap news agency reported.

Yonhap said the accident occurred on Seoul Metro Line 2 and that some of the injured were taken to a hospital at Hanyang University.

One subway car derailed due to the impact of the collision and passengers walked from the trains on the tracks to the station, YTN television said.
