MIRI: Incessant barking outside a house triggered the curious owner to take a peek outside, only to see two men climbing the wall to pluck his mangoes.
In the incident around 4pm on Sunday at a house in Pujut 8, the house owner in his 50’s and his son first
apprehended the men before deciding it was a job for the men in blue.
Unfortunately, the free-loaders managed to flee when the house owner was making an emergency call to the cops.
Amazingly, they abandoned their motorcycle — and several mangoes.
According to the house owner, this was the fourth time thieves had come after his mangoes.
At about 5pm, a Mobile Police Vehicle (MPV) turned up at the scene.
The motorcycle, believed to belong to one of the suspects, was brought to Miri Central Police Station (CPS).
