KUCHING: The Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) Blood Bank is calling for blood donors to ensure blood stock is consistently sufficient.
Hence, they are calling on members of the public to come and visit them to donate blood.
For the ease of blood donors, a mobile Blood Bank unit will also be dispatched to a few locations this month namely: AVA Room SMK Kuching High (on May 10 from 8.30am to 1pm), SIB Church Olive Garden Kota Sentosa (on May 10 from 9am to 2pm), MDS Jalan Sin San Too (on May 11, from 9am to 3pm), Third floor, Plaza Merdeka (jointly organised by the Federation of Kuching and Samarahan Chinese Youth on May 11 from 9.30am to 2.30pm), St. Thomas’ Cathedral, Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg (on May 13 from 9am to 1pm) and Kuching Tze Yin Buddhist Orthodox Association Jalan Sherip Masahor (on May 13 from 9am to 1pm).
Those who are interested to donate blood on any other days, they are encouraged to visit the Blood Donation Counter at the SGH which opens weekly from Monday to Friday (working days only) from 8am to 4.30pm.
