BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Brunei’s Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah has sent a message of congratulations to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Xinhua news agency reports citing Radio and Television Brunei on Tuesday.
In his message, the Sultan wished Modi success in his new post and looked forward to working with him to strengthen long-standing ties of friendship and cooperation between both countries, including through work in the Commonwealth and the Asean-India Dialogue.
Modi was sworn in as India’s 15th prime minister on Monday. –BERNAMA
