GEORGE TOWN: It is crucial for the MCA to rejoin the cabinet as this will help its Public Service and Complaints Department to perform better in solving cases, said department head Datuk Seri Michael Chong.
He hoped Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak would put MCA into the cabinet as the move would lighten the work of the Public Service and Complaints Department in further helping people in need.
“There is a need for MCA to put a minister or deputy minister in the cabinet to do the services. The Chinese associations, businessmen are also turning back to us and see things are tough without MCA (in the cabinet),” he told reporters after a talk on the public service and complaints department, here yesterday. — Bernama
