KAPIT: After two days of keen competition, Yellow House emerged the overall champion of this year’s SJK © Hock Lam annual athletics meet held at Padang Sukan on June 23 and 24.
The team collected 223 points to overcome Red House (175 points).
Blue House and Purple House finished third and fourth respectively.
400 pupils from Primary four to Primary six competed in some fifty events.
Headmaster Wong Siew Ching in his closing remark thanked the teachers for their commitment and team work to ensure the smooth and successful carried out school sports.
He also congratulated the pupils for their keen participation. He also stressed the importance of a holistic all-round education to cultivate knowledge, physical fitness and character building.
