SIBU: A man cheated death after the trailer lorry he was driving crashed at Mile 13 Sibu-Bintulu road on Friday.
The vehicle loaded with boxes of condensed milk was said to have lost control at 6.30pm.
The driver was thrown out of the vehicle through the front windscreen, damaging it.
The goods were scattered all over the roadside.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) despatched a team to the scene after receiving a call at 6.30pm.
Sibu Bomba chief Abdul Mutalib confirmed the driver was alone when the incident happened.
The driver was admitted to hospital for head and chest injuries.
The vehicle belongs to a company in Bintulu.
