MIRI: A 29-year-old man was taken in for suspected trespassing and breaking into his aunt’s house in Pujut 7 on Friday night.
It was believed that the suspect had trespassed the house and unlocked the door with spare keys that he possessed and carted away a 32-inch flat TV and a pair of Adidas shoes.
At first, the suspect refused to admit he had hidden the stolen items when confronted by his aunt.
However, he eventually confessed when the aunt called up police to pick him up.
The stolen items were apparently placed inside an abandoned car near the house.
