SEMPORNA: The widow of the late Corporal Ab Rajah Jamuan wants to venture into pastry and cake business to earn a living in the near future.

Salamah Amad, whose only son will turn one year old on July 26, said her priority would be her son’s education and to make her husband’s cemetery.

She said she would be staying at her husband’s house at Kampung Bubul 2 as she plans for her family’s future.

Salamah said she still couldn’t come to terms with the fact that her husband was gone while their son, who is close to his father, still cries a lot at night as he misses him.

“I will let him hold his father’s cloth to calm him down,” she said.

Ab Rajah was killed when eight gunmen attacked a marine police team at the Mabul Water Bungalows Resort.

Meanwhile, Salamah said she had received many aid from the government, NGOs, political parties and individuals.

She also received personal contributions from Rural and Regional Development Minister cum Semporna member of parliament Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Haji Abdal who visited her yesterday before the Friday prayers.
