According to him, it is important that all people of special needs should be given help and attention, especially the children.

“I believe that all those with special needs be given assistance. This is because they are the ones who need help the most,” he added.

The Member of Parliament for Santubong continued that it is wrong for parents with disabled children to leave them out and isolate them from the society.

“Everybody deserves to be a part of society, especially the disabled. As Hari Raya is fast approaching, nobody should be left behind to celebrate the special day,” he said.

Wan Junaidi said this during a speech at the breaking of fast which he officiated at a local hotel recently.

During the event, which was organised by the PBB Santubong Service Centre, he together with Pantai Damai assemblyman Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi and Demak Laut assemblyman Dr Hazland Abang Hipni distributed gifts to the less fortunate namely the disabled, orphans and the elderly.
