BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Minister of Development, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awg Hj Suyoi Hj Osman as a representative of the government of His Majesty the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and the Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday signed the Condolence Book following the tragedy involving Malaysian Airlines flight MH17, Brudirect reported.
The Boeing 777-200 on a flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur was believed to have been shot down by a surface to air missile last Thursday. The plane carried two hundred and ninety eight people on board crashed in the Donetsk Region in eastern Ukraine.
Also present was the Malaysian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam, His Excellency Datuk Awg Sahak Awg Salleh. The signing was held at the Malaysian High Commission in Jalan Kebangsaan.
