KUCHING: Naim Holdings Bhd came to the aid of Rumah Amal Nur Murni by making financial and other contributions of daily necessities such as rice and food items recently.

The contributions were handed over by Rizal Omar, Naim’s senior manager of human resources, to Siti Khadijah Din who is the manager and co-ordinator for Rumah Amal Nur Murni.

Rumah Amal Nur Murni, part of the ‘PertubuhanKebajikan dan Pendidikan Nur Murni’ (PKPNM), a non-governmental organisation, focuses on education and welfare of various groups such as orphans, those in poverty and single mothers.

Naim also hosted a breaking of fast for its residents, comprising orphans, single mothers and children from families in need, and handed out ‘DuitRaya’ to the children.

More than 30 Naim staff participated in the activity and spent quality time with the children.

Rizal said that Naim operates with a strong awareness of its corporate social responsibility (CSR).

‘We have a strong outreach programme to connect with the less fortunate members of the community, trying to assist them in ways we can. We strongly believe in giving back to society. This is beyond corporate social responsibility – this is from our hearts, driven by a passion to make a difference in people’s lives,’ he said.
