BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Tourists who has come to Brunei Darussalam expressed their awe of the country’s unique culture and friendly community as well as the fresh air and the beauty of the state’s flora and fauna species, Brudirect reported.
Without a doubt, these factors contribute to the increase number of tourists into the country. According to the Tourism Development Department, 224,904 tourists were recorded last year. The figure showed an increase in comparison with year 2012.

The Culture and Tourism Gallery of Kampong Ayer and the Kampong Ayer upgrading pioneer project also caught the tourists’ attention. Various collections of old pictures and artifacts were displayed as well as handicrafts which were sold to the tourists. The project was a section of the Kampong Ayer residence which are conserved, clean and safe but also ensures family life for generations.
