KUCHING: The state government will hold a cabinet meeting soon to see how best it can help the families of MH17 victims, says Chief Minister Tan Sri Datuk Amar Adenan Satem.

“We share the grief of their families. We will call for a cabinet meeting after the festive season and see what we can do for the families of the tragedy, especially those from Sarawak,” he told reporters at his first day Hari Raya Open House at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) on Monday.

“Hundreds, if not thousands, came and I am really happy to receive them. This is the way of Sarawak during all festivals and we should continue to keep up with this tradition. We must continue to instill this spirit of togetherness among us,” he said.
