KENINGAU: Four people including the driver suffered minor injuries when the Toyota Vigo they were travelling in skidded and overturned at Kilometer 10, Jalan Keningau-Kimanis on Tuesday evening.

District Police Chief Deputy Superintendent Robert Salisip @ David said yesterday that the driver was a retired civil servant aged 67 while the passengers were three women aged 59-66 years old. The driver was believed to have lost control of the vehicle while going downhill causing the vehicle to skid and overturn in the middle of the road in the 2pm incident.
“The driver and passengers suffered minor injury and were treated at Keningau hospital and their condition is reported to be stable,” he said.
He said the four victims were on the way from Kimanis to Keningau when the incident occurred.
According to him, the weather condition was good and so far the driver had not lodged a police report on the incident.
