KOTA KINABALU: The Auto Traders Association of Sabah (ATAS) yesterday announced that the 6th ATAS Motor Show will be held from Aug 15 to 17.
The free-to-attend exhibition will be held at the Sabah Trade Centre in Likas from 10am to 9pm daily.
Announcing this yesterday, ATAS chairman Dr James Yong Chau Leong, said:
“This bi-annual event will be the single biggest motor show in Sabah. Car enthusiasts and visitors will be able to enjoy and explore everything under one roof from the latest car models and accessory trends to insurance policies and loans by your local banks. It will be an attractive show to anyone in need of accessible vehicle solutions”.
The ATAS Motor Show 2014 will showcase over 40 participants which includes ATAS members such as Sime Darby (Ford & Jaguar-Land Rover), Universal Motor (Isuzu), Right Power (Hyundai), Inti Deras (Big Bikes), Edaran Tan Chong (Nissan), Fook Loi/Anak Sabah (Great Wall Motors), Maxspeed Auto (Mazda), Boon Siew (Honda), Boston Auto (Chevrolet) and UMW Toyota.
Heavy vehicles that will also be exhibited include Aulis Auto (Benteng), FF Auto (Hino) and Tan Chong Ind Equipment (Auman & UD Trucks), plus, the Tint Shop will be there to assist visitors
with all their car embellishing needs.
Banks and insurance companies that will be participating are Maybank, RHB Bank, CIMB, AIG Insurance, UniAsia Insurance, Hwang Investment Mgmt Bhd, Toyota Capital and Public Bank.
Organising chairman of the event, Francis Lim said, “We are very excited about this year’s
show as we also have exciting activities for the public to enjoy. Every day we will be giving away one lucky draw prize, a LED TV plus other goodies.
“Visitors will also get a chance to conquer the 30-foot high Isuzu giant ramp, and also participate in fun games with the Hitz.fm, Era.fm and My FM cruisers.
And the car dealerships are also offering special promotions for purchases made during the event.
