KUCHING: The bodies of slain British medical students Neil Dalton, 23, and Aidan Brunger, 22 were flown out from Kuching last night.
Kuching district police deputy chief Supt Fauzilan Abdul Aziz said the bodies were flown using Malaysia Airlines flight MH2527 bound for Kuala Lumpur at 9.30pm.
At the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, it was understood the bodies were transferred to another flight bound for London, United Kingdom.
Dalton and Brunger, who were fourth year medical students from Newcastle University working at the Sarawak General Hospital here, were stabbed to death in the wee hours of Wednesday. The case sent shockwaves in Sarawak and United Kingdom.
Yesterday, friends of the victims and two senior members from the university came to the SGH morque to officially identify the bodies.
