KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak yesterday expressed his appreciation for the Malaysian disaster victim identification (DVI) team engaged in the MH17 tragedy investigation process.
“Thank you, Malaysian DVI team for your efforts in assisting to identify the MH17 tragedy victims in Ukraine,” he said in his latest post on Twitter.
Najib’s post was linked to a Bernama report on the contribution of the Malaysian DVI team to the process of tagging and transferring of the MH17 tragedy victims in Kharkiv, Ukraine, an effort that won the praise of the other DVI international teams.
Eleven members of the team were among the two batches of investigators who returned to Kuala Lumpur yesterday after 22 days in Ukraine. — Bernama
