KUCHING: The State Health Department and the Malaysian Royal Police will represent Kuching for the male and female categories respectively at the inter-division Maksak futsal competition.

The players and officials will head to Limbang for the competition on Aug 23 and 24.
Acting Kuching Resident Zamhari Saidi, who is also Maksak chairman, the competition aims to promote closer ties among the various government agencies.
“The teams were selected after they won the Kuching Maksak Futsal Competition which was held on June 14 at Coneli Futsal Stadium. The competition gives the honour to the Divisional champion team to represent Sarawak,” he added.
