KUCHING: A young man was arrested for allegedly molesting a school girl last weekend.
A policeman taking the suspect to the Simpang Tiga One Stop Centre.
The 21-year-old was arrested in Petra Jaya yesterday morning following a police report lodged by the 15-year-old girl.
Deputy Kuching police chief Supt Fauzilan Abdul Aziz confirmed receiving the report.
The girl lodged the report two days ago claiming she and the suspect had met at the compound of the State Library before she was brought to his house where the suspect asked to have sex with her. She refused.
It was learnt that she was having her menses which stopped the suspect from raping her.
The suspect was brought to the One Stop Centre at Jalan Simpang Tiga for investigation.
