SIBU: A panicky woman knocked down three motorcycles and a car and shattered a glass window of a shop before her car sat atop two motorcycles in a freak accident at the lane behind Public Bank at Central Road here yesterday.
The car ends up sitting atop two motorcycles it has rammed into.
The incident occurred when the woman in her 60s was waiting inside her car on the narrow lane at 2.30pm.
A driver in front of her wanted to turn and had honked the woman to give way. When she tried doing so, she instead drove into the other car, hitting it.
The woman became panicky.
She went on to hit into the wall of a shop, bringing down a glass window.
This made the woman more nervous. She reversed, and this time, she knocked down a motorcycle carrying two people who luckily did not fall onto her path.
The woman further reversed, and this time, she rammed into two parked motorcycles and sat atop them.
The incident stirred a scene but no one was injured.
The woman’s family members arrived shortly to take her home.
