Brunei man on drug rap in Taman Tunku

MIRI: Miri narcotics police on Wednesday morning nabbed a widower from Brunei Darussalam for possession of drugs.

The suspect, 37, was nabbed in a house in Taman Tunku around 10am, during a raid where police also seized a drug believed to be Ketamine.

Miri police chief ACP Gan Tian Kee, when contacted, confirmed the arrest made.

“The suspect also tested positive for drug (meth and Ketamine),” said Gan.

The case is being investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952.
