“This award means a lot to Elica, being the first development of its kind in Sarawak, it has generated a lot of interest.

“The win brings great recognition to the product we have created, we are making a landmark for the future residents of The Republic even before its completed construction,” said Bobby Ting, managing director of Elica.

“The Republic is Elica’s maiden project for high rise condominiums in Sarawak. Therefore with the first project in hand, we wanted to make a distinct product, which stands out from the rest of the markets offerings.

“The award shows great recognition to all the planning and detailing we have done to make this project a success. We have truly tailored a product which is now being recognised as the best in East Malaysia,” Elica stated.

The Asia Property Awards offer an unrivalled showcase of the Asia region’s real estate industry, boosting awareness and highlighting top quality developers, projects and services from Indonesia to China.

Elica said, the awards highlights the high calibre work within the Asian real estate industry, encompassing construction, architecture and interior design. With a professionally run and fully audited judging system, they also bring Asia’s real estate industry to the world stage, it added.

The markets in these countries offer some of the world’s most innovative and interesting property developments, designed by renowned architects and built by proven developers who’s reputations are known globally.

“It is these leading companies and professionals that are rewarded and celebrated at the Asia Property Awards,” Elica said.
