LAHAD DATU: Sabah police commissioner Datuk Jalaludin Abdul Rahman said three districts in the state’s east coast would potentially have a deputy police chief.

He said the new officers would be assigned to the Lahad Datu, Kunak and Semporna police headquarters.

“The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) has agreed for the posts to be created,” he said at the official opening of the Police Headquarters Complex here today.

On the new RM74 million complex officiated by deputy IGP Tan Sri Mohd Bakri Mohd Zinin, he said it was proof of the government’s earnestness to improve the quality of services to the people.-Bernama
