KAPIT: The Church of St Mary Immaculate Conception here during Sunday Mass on Sept 7 blessed church members’ children sitting for the Ujian Penilaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) from Sept 9 to 11.

Parish priest Father David Ho blessed more than 100 UPSR students.
He advised the students to answer the questions as best as they could and hoped they could make their school and parents proud.
He said other than studying hard, they need to have spiritual strength, be disciplined, and have good moral values.
Present at the mass were Parish Council chairman
David Chuo, Marian Guild chairperson Agnes Jemat, catechists Edward Antas and Kenneth Kanyan, parish council and Marian Guild members, church wardens and some 1,000 faithful.
