Its deputy chairman Mohd Saif Jubaidi said the championship will be held from September 20-28 in Kuching.

“The association is not aiming high for the team in the championship this year.

Saif said the team did not perform well during the last championship and hoped they can improve their performance this year while at the same time the championship will serve as a best venue for the players to improve their skills.

Earlier, Antonio who is also the advisor for the association wanted the players to give their best during the championship.

He wanted them to stay focused on the competition and always put discipline as their priority.
