MIRI: A 27-year-old man was apprehended by the police yesterday for intruding into his neighbour’s house and running amok.

The incident reportedly occurred around 11am.

Fearing for their safety, the terrified neighbour called up the man’s father, who was living nearby at Canada Hill.

The father immediately rushed to the neighbour’s house and tried his best to coax his son to calm down.

Unfortunately, he (the father) failed to calm the son down which forced him to call the police for help.

It was believed that the suspect was under the influence of illegal substance (drugs).

A mobile police vehicle (MPV) rushed to the scene and nabbed the man.

The man has been brought to Miri Central Police Station (CPS) for further investigation and urine test.

He warned a group of local reporters, saying “I’ll chop off your heads if you take my pictures” while being escorted by the police personnel to Miri Narcotics Department at Miri-Pujut road from CPS.
