Nasty fall

A man makes his way to an ambulance after being helped out of a monsoon drain following a fall in Kuching early yesterday morning. The victim in his 20s was believed to have been drunk and was walking alone along Jalan Kwong Lee Bank when he fell inside the drain around 2am. A passing motorist who witnessed the incident called an ambulance to send the victim to Sarawak General Hospital, where he was treated for a gash to his head. — Photo by Gary Adit
