KUCHING: Mitrajaya Holdings Bhd (Mitrajaya) has secured a construction contract for a school estimated to be worth RM269.783 million.
The company in a filing to Bursa Malaysia on Monday said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Pembinaan Mitrajaya Sdn Bhd, accepted from Raffles American School the award for the proposed main contract works for academic blocks, boarding facilities, support facilities and outdoor sports facilities at Lot 189155 Nusajaya, Johor Bahru.
The contract sum of the works is estimated at RM269,783,000.
The company said the duration of the contract is for 80 weeks and the job is expected to be completed within the 80 weeks timeframe starting from the work order.
Mitrajaya believes the contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s future earnings.
