Extra time drama

Kuching players (in white) tussling for the ball against Samarahan in a Sarawak Cup quarterfinal match played at stadium Negeri in Kuching last night. Samarahan squeezed into the semi-final through a penalty shootout 5-4 after a pulsating game which ended 2-2 in extra time. The teams were locked in a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes and Kuching looked set for victory after going ahead in extra time only for Samarahan to equalise in the last minute of extra time through a corner kick. Samarahan will face Sarikei in the semi-final today while the other semi-final match is between Sukma 2016 and ATM which will also be played today.
