SHAH ALAM: Selangor PAS is to convene a meeting soon to select its assemblyman for the post of deputy speaker of the Selangor legislative assembly allotted to PAS by newly-elected menteri besar Mohamed Azmin Ali.
Selangor PAS commissioner Iskandar Abdul Samad said the meeting would be held soon.
He spoke to reporters after launching the draw of lots and offer of ‘Rumah Selangorku’ houses here.
Mohamed Azmin announced yesterday that the PAS would fill the post of deputy speaker.
The previous deputy speaker, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, the Seri Setia assemblyman from PKR, had resigned to take up a post of state executive councillor yesterday. – Bernama
