SRI AMAN: The body of 50-year-old Mustapa Bunsu from Kampung Tuie was found around 3.40pm yesterday at the river near Rumah Buda Debak after he went missing around 10am the same day.

A search and rescue party led by personnel from the Civil Defence Department found the body stuck to a log around 500 metres from the site Mustapa was last seen tying up sago palms.
He was with fellow villagers Jaiani Fauzi, Fauzi Dollah, Zulkepi Daud and Mohd Ismawi Abdullah looking for sago palms before the incident happened.
The four believe that Mustapa might have been a victim of a crocodile attack because his body was seen popping out of the water at one point around the floating the sago logs before it went down.
Mustapa’s remains were brought to Betong hospital for post-mortem.
The authority has classified the case as sudden death.
