LAWAS: Youths should use information and communication technology (ICT) wisely and not abuse it to bring hardship upon themselves and others.

Lawas District officer Hussaini Hakim said this at the closing of the district-level Nur Sejahtera Remaja Daerah Lawas 2014’ programme organised by the Women’s Development and Family Council (MPWK) Lawas Parliamentary at Pusat Giat MARA Sundar yesterday.
Among those present were the chairman of Lawas MPWK, Datin Sri Mariam Balan and her deputy Councillor Aisah Bahar, as well as chairman of GiatMARA Lawas Hanafi Abdul Rahman.
Hussaini reminded parents and other family members to set good examples for the younger generation so that they would not fall prey to social ills such as drug abuse and greed, that could force them to steal or commit other crimes.
