SIBU: Laila Taib College (KLT) and Sibu Youth Council (SYC) will jointly hold a fund-raising for charity on Oct 18 from 8am till noon at KLT campus in Teng Chin Hua Road here.

KLT chief executive officer Eric Wong said the main objective of the event was to raise funds for Sibu Spinal Cord Association (SSCA) and Sarawak Children Cancer Society.
“We are targeting RM150,000 from sales of coupons,” he told a press conference at KLT campus yesterday.
He said the coupons were priced at RM50 per booklet.
“The coupons are used to redeem food, drinks and groceries during the event,” said Wong.
“We really hope the public will support the event by buying the coupons,” he concluded.
